Meet Edward

I am a self employed estate agent with 21 years in the industry. I offer sales, lettings and management on a sole agency only basis to a number of private clients. My clients deal with me and me alone. I live in Notting Hill and specialise in W11, W10 and W2.

Given the nature of my work - I gain a lot of my business from my clients referring me to their friends - I do work all over London. I have recently transacted in Wandsworth, Battersea, Belsize Park, Barnes, Clapham and Maida Vale. I place a lot of value on having the flexibility to help clients anywhere in London and love the variety it brings me.

How do I do this?

I part own a platform for self employed estate agents called Agent and Homes. This platform gets my clients on Rightmove/Zoopla and OnTheMarket. Agent and Homes does my all my admin for me from AML checks to rent collect for my landlords. Enabling me to do what I enjoy - selling and letting properties!

The best part - as I am not passing on the huge and unnecessary cost of a bloated high street operation I can offer my clients a personal service at a significantly better fee than the high street and large corporate agents.

My typical lettings fees are:

Let only - 8% first year dropping to 5% for years two and three and nothing beyond year three.

Let and managed - 12% first year dropping to 9% for years two and three and no let fee beyond year three.

I do not charge for anything else - no admin fee to set up the tenancy, no renewal fees, I pay for the referencing. I do not mark up any maintenance invoices.
